ANCESTRAL WAYS: Iraqi High Holiday Hits is a rare collection of 20 selihoth and related prayers for R’shana (Rosh Hashana) and Kip’r (Yom Kippur), chanted by a woman. The first 10 tracks are the original, a cappella versions of these prayers. The second 10 are a Shaddai Chants original variation of these prayers, featuring improvisational vocals and crystal singing bowls – for use in meditation, yoga, sacred dance, massage, and sleep. 

This double album includes an accompanying prayer book with call-and-response choruses transliterated into English, in the Iraqi pronunciation of Hebrew – making it accessible to English speakers of all backgrounds.
