The tempo
Instruments
Screaming screeching
In a fast and furious
Crescendo
My Heartbeat
Underneath it all
To my surprise
Was pianissimo
A steady
Calm clear
Vocal stream
The signal
At the center
Of it all
A lighthouse
Emanating
Calling out
To the other ships
Like me
As they make
Their own way
Through the stormy
Raging Sea
