PASSOVER: A Blueprint for Healing and Resilience

Musician, healer, and ground-breaking Jewish Multicultural educator Loolwa Khazzoom connects the dots between Passover celebration, Jewish principles of transformation, and her own journey healing naturally from multiple chronic health issues.

The event includes exploration of ancient Jewish principles of transmutation, storytelling about theatrical Middle Eastern Passover traditions, Iraqi chanting of Haggadah passages in Judeo-Arabic, and a live solo performance of Iraqis in Pajamas band haggadah remix, “The Mighty 12.”

Following the presentation, there will be a facilitated Q&A session.

This program will be presented in an adult education format but may also be suitable to teenagers, depending on the age and individual.

The event will be presented in English, with some Judeo Arabic chanting. No knowledge of Judeo Arabic is required to participate fully.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Loolwa Khazzoom (KHAZZOOM.com) is a ground-breaking Jewish multicultural educator, multimedia artist, and healer, and she is the frontwoman for the bands Iraqis in Pajamas (IraqisInPajamas.com) and Shaddai Chants (ShaddaiChants.com). Her work has been featured in top media including The New York Times and Rolling Stone; she has presented at prestigious institutes including Harvard University and the Simon Wiesenthal Center; her healing modalities have been applauded by preeminent doctors including Larry Dossey MD and Martin Rossman MD; her books have been taught at universities worldwide; and she has been a featured expert in numerous documentaries, including The Forgotten Refugees and Young, Jewish, and Left.
